How We Do Things

Fantasy Pins

All enamel pins purchased through our shop are unlicensed products and considered Fantasy Pins.  These can not be traded at a Disney theme parks, hotels, or retailers with a cast member.

Pre-Sales

Collectors who purchase pins during this phase understand that the production period can take four to eight months.  Each pin is hand made, and approved by us each step of the way.  This approval process can take weeks as we try our best to protect the integrity of the artwork by selecting pantones that best match the art.  Often times, the colors selected from our Pantone book just does not translate into the pin enamel.  This requires a selection of a new pantone and creation of another sample.  Other delays can be caused by the metal work required of each design, the effects and screen printing, quantities, their national holidays, etc. 

Pins purchased during pre-sale are non-refundable after 24 hours from the time of purchase. 

A pre-sale purchase guarantees a standard grade pin at a preferred price.  Please note that standard grade pins are not flawless.  Minor flaws may be present but does not take away from the overall design of the pin.

Progress photos of each pin are shared to our Instagram Stories as they are received, and filed under "Updates" Highlights for your review.  Once the pin is in hand, all progress photos of the pin will be removed from the "Updates" Highlights. 

Collectors who are unable to wait months for the pin to be completed are NOT ENCOURAGED to purchase a pin during pre-sale.  Extras will be sold once the pins are in-hand.

Exchanges

If inventory is available, exchanges for another pin within the same grading will be allowed, however return shipping will be covered by the customer.  Once The Pin Hut receives the pin, a replacement pin will be sent out.  Exchanges will be limited to one design per customer.

If you receive a pin that you feel is a lesser grade than purchased, submit a request for an exchange along with photos of the flaws to [email protected].  Once the flaws and the lower grading are verified, we will send you a return shipping label.  Once the pin is scanned into the postal service system and showing as "In Transit", a replacement pin will be sent out.  Exchanges will be limited to one design per customer.

Refunds

Pins purchased during an extras sale are non-refundable. 

Packing and Shipping

All orders are packaged with care and sent in bubble mailers or flat rate boxes.  Tracking numbers will be sent upon printing of shipping labels.  Once the postal service scans the item into their system, any claims or issues regarding your packages will be directed to them.  Should you require an upgraded shipping option that includes insurance, contact us at [email protected] to arrange the additional fees.
